General conditions


We are designed for your personal and individual rest and relaxation. In order to answer many questions in advance, you will find all the important information about your feel-good holiday in our house here.


Your room is ready for occupancy from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival. On the day of your departure, your room is available until 11 a.m. We would like to politely inform you that our wellness worlds can no longer be used on your day of arrival before 3 p.m. and on your day of departure after 6 p.m. due to the current restrictions on people. Thank you for your understanding!



The statutory local tax of €2.50 - €3.00  per person over the age of 15 and per day will be added to your respective price..



The rich breakfast basket will be placed in front of your apartment between 10:30 and 10:00 o'clock, if you have booked bed and breakfast or our half board. Please inform the reception desk of your desired breakfast time.

A 5-course enjoyment menu in the evening in our restaurant is included if you have booked half board. You are also welcome to dine A La Carte in our restaurant. We are also happy to serve our menus vegetarian, please let the reception know when checking in.

Dog owners are very welcome in the Puitalm. Around our hotel there is a large territory for all four-legged friends to discover and a lot of space...

The daily rate is € 25 per day (without food). Please note that not all room categories can be booked when accompanied by a pet. When making your request, please let us know that you would like to bring your pet. Animals may only be brought along after our written confirmation. Please understand that your loved ones are not allowed in the wellness area and gym. 


As a special thank you for your long stay, we are happy to grant you a special discount of 5% on the overnight rate including breakfast (valid from 7 nights, not combinable with special arrangements, further discounts or loyalty weeks, not valid in the Christmas season).



There are no rest days in the Puitalm. We therefore ask for your understanding that necessary maintenance and construction work must be carried out during ongoing operations. Of course, the disturbances for our guests are always kept as low as possible.



The offers on our website do not represent an offer or an order, but are merely an invitation to an offer. All our offers, in particular by email or by post, are exclusively non-binding and subject to change.



Please note that deviations in equipment, size and orientation are possible. Photos, pictures, tours and sketches are examples and may vary in individual rooms.

Please note that due to the Austrian non-smoking law, our entire hotel restaurant and all our rooms are smoke-free zones. We offer specially designated, attractive smoking areas for smokers. We ask for your understanding that we charge a special cleaning fee of € 280 if you smoke in the room!

If you are unable to start your stay at the Puitalm, the following cancellation conditions normally apply:

  • up to 14 days before the day of arrival, 40% of the total package price will be charged
  • up to 7 days before the day of arrival, 70% of the total package price will be charged
  • up to 2 days before the arrival date, 90% of the total package price will be charged
  • 100% of the total package price will be charged on the day of arrival

For bookings around/over New Year's Eve, other cancellation conditions apply, as noted in your offer/booking.

We recommend that you take out Hotel Cancellation Plus insurance from "Europäische Reiseversicherung" for every reservation. In relation to COVID-19 there is an adapted insurance cover.


If a reservation has been made, the cancellation conditions of the Austrian hotel industry (AGBH2006) apply.


In addition to the general terms and conditions listed above, the following regulations apply to online bookings: The accommodation contract only comes into effect when the booking is accepted by the accommodation provider (§ 3 AGBH 2006). In the case of online bookings, this acceptance takes place exclusively through a credit card debit of the deposit on our part. The booking only becomes binding on both sides once the deposit has been successfully debited. Up to this point, the booking can be canceled by either party free of charge and without giving a reason. For the deposit, we will charge your credit card with the amount/percentage stated in the booking conditions. Fixed reservation only after the deposit has been paid. By providing your account or credit card details, you allow us to charge your credit card for all fees incurred, such as down payments and, if applicable, cancellation fees (according to our cancellation conditions).

We expressly point out that in the case of online bookings or accommodation contracts concluded by way of distance selling, there is no right of withdrawal within 14 days of the conclusion of the contract and that our cancellation conditions (further up on this page) are expressly agreed. Our cancellation conditions replace the right of withdrawal according to the European Union Consumer Rights Directive.

Due to the system, it is possible that an apartment can also be booked online if it is necessary to move to another apartment in the same category during your stay. We would of course inform you about this immediately and clarify this with you.

Please check in your booking confirmation:
- arrival and departure date
- Number of people
- booked apartment category

If more people arrive than indicated on the booking confirmation, or if the age of the children is incorrect, we will adjust the price (plus any local tax) according to our price list. We also reserve the right to adjust the apartment category (upgrade or downgrade with price adjustment) if necessary.

However, if this is not possible due to the booking situation, the booking will be considered canceled and cancellation fees of 90% of the total package price will be charged - in accordance with our cancellation conditions. Therefore, carefully check the information contained in the booking confirmation.
